Overview
HandyDial is a missed-call AI receptionist for handyman and small home-repair businesses. This notice explains what information we collect through the HandyDial website and setup flow, how we use it, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Business contact details you submit through onboarding (business name, owner name, phone number, email, primary city, optional website).
- Setup preferences (services, customer type, service area, call-handling preferences, voice and language selections, activation timeline, payment intent).
- The simulated call transcript and lead summary generated from the details you provide.
- Standard request metadata (timestamps, referrer, UTM parameters) that helps us understand how people find HandyDial.
HandyDial does not currently process live phone calls, so we do not record or store real customer calls or voicemails through this setup flow.
How we use it
- To prepare your HandyDial setup and configure the right call flow for your business.
- To reach out about activation, scheduling a setup call, or product updates.
- To improve the HandyDial product based on the kinds of setups customers request.
Storage and sharing
Setup request data is stored in a Supabase database (or a local file in development mode) and accessed only by HandyDial staff. We do not sell your information. We use Resend to send internal alerts and your confirmation email.
Your choices
Email privacy@handydial.example.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your setup information.
AI disclosure
When HandyDial answers customer calls on your behalf, we recommend telling callers they are speaking with an AI assistant on your business’s behalf. The default script is included in your setup.
Changes
We’ll update this page as the product matures. Material changes to how we handle your data will be communicated to active HandyDial users by email.
